Thomas James "Tom" Kenny (born July 13, 1962) is an American actor, voice actor, singer and comedian. Her most prominent role is as SpongeBob in the eponymous series and live the character Patch the Pirate, Gary the Snail and the French narrator based on Jacques Cousteau. Gives voice to Heffer Wolfe and other characters from Rocko's Modern Life, also the mayor and narrator of the animated series The Powerpuff Girls on Cartoon Network, and Professor Lumpus and Camp Lazlo Baboso. Besides work as a voice actor, Kenny has participated in television programs such as The Edge of Fox and the HBO comedy Mr. Show, where he had the opportunity to work with his wife, Jill Talley. Since 2004 he is speaker of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
